Play Off

This episode we are featuring The Doors, “Light My Fire.” We start with their appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1967, which ends up being a Reader’s Digest version of the song compared to other recordings.  Then we move on to their 1968 performance at The Hollywood Bowl, which goes on so long Jim Morrison has to stop for a cigarette break!  We end with a very young and relatively unknown Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam giving a very Jim Morrison-like performance with The Doors at their induction to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1993.  Enjoy!
